The result is less mining for metals and fewer natural resources used, not to mention saving a lot of space in the nation’s landfills. Metals like copper and gold are harvested during the recycling process. Non precious metals have their place as well. Tin, iron, and aluminum, as well as silicon are all easy to recycle.
