Considering that the computer will shortly be taken apart and it’s various components recycled, there isn’t much worry of your personal information being exploited in this kind of situation. It’s always recommended that you thoroughly check out any computer hardware recycling company you are considering just to be on the safe side though.
It doesn’t take a great deal of thought to realize that tons of computers and other electronic items sitting in landfills is a bad idea. Eventually, the space is going to run out.
