Depending on your preferences and where you live, you can choose to have your plastic recyclables collected by a recycling company or drop your items off to the recycling plant yourself. It might take some time to get in the habit of saving your plastic bottles, but before you know it, you’ll be on your way to the center with tons of plastic that will live to see another day as a new plastic product.
Once you have the plastic bottle recycling under control at home, your next battleground can be found at work. Of course, you could be one of those lucky people who already work for a company that puts recycling of all kinds high on its list of priorities. If not, it’s time to do some research and approach whoever makes that kind of decision with all of your facts straight. Be sure to include information about the price of and where to get the proper recycling receptacles as well as how collection will work. It will be helpful if you or another employee is willing to head up the project. The less work for the boss, the more likely you are to get the green light.
When you break it down to just recycling plastic bottles, it might not seem like you can really make that much difference.
